 A couple of years ago I came across this super talented Photographer Lizelle Lotter, and fell in love with her work straight away! Since then I just cant help myself, but find myself often on her blog hoping for some new material to look at. I am a huge fan of Lizelle, and appreciate her sharing this stunning wedding of Joggie and Yolande that took place in the gorgeous valley of Franschoek, Cape town South Africa at the elegant country lodge, Simondium Country Lodge. Then of course I am a big fan of Proteas, just how stunning is that hand bouquet of Yolande?, South Africa's National flower, and it is almost a must for any wedding in South Africa, it is a very popular flower to have at a wedding in South Africa. And Capetown is also the home of the gorgeous Fynbos family!

Have you ever heard of this great event in South Africa called Kamersvol Geskenke, if you are a South African and have not visited it yet, shame on you!, you don't know what you are missing, if you are from anywhere else over the world and want to visit South Africa, make sure you check the event dates an pay a visit.!! A must for all the creative birds!

 

Here is a little history on Kamers: It all started in 2003, when close friends vacated their home and our new business moved in. We started realizing our dream to provide a platform where creative people come together for inspiration, encouragement and support.

Our first Kamers showcased just 40 suppliers and we had 800 excited visitors. Over the past few years, KAMERS has grown from strength to strength as people have joined our dream, imparted invaluable wisdom and left indelible footprints. In 2012 our three events had 35 000 visitors in total and they are still just as excited about the KAMERS experience.

2012 was a monumental year as we celebrated 10 years of KAMERS and wonderful women, their stories, dreams and growth through creativity. We also added a third annual event in Bloemfontein to our calendar and launched our kamers online store With some of the Cape’s most beautiful wine farms and Pretoria and Bloemfontein’s most stylish venues providing the backdrop for recent shows, KAMERS continues to offer a visual and creative feast for the senses
